Following his graduation from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1943, Mr. Wilcox served aboard USS Elly son (DD-454) until 1946. A commander in the U. S. Naval Reserve, he has been commanding officer of Naval Reserve Surface Division 6-32 and of USS Greenwood Reserve Crew (DE-679). He is Assistant Editor of the Charleston (S.C.) News and Courier.
