Anna Gibson Holloway is the vice president of Collections & Programs at the Mariners' Museum, where she also serves as curator of the USS Monitor Center. The Winston-Salem, North Carolina, native recently earned her Ph.D. in history from the College of William and Mary. In th epast, she has been a musician, a square-rig sailor, and an understudy fire-eater.
