Captain Berner is an MH-60R pilot currently serving as commanding officer of Naval Information Warfare Systems Command’s Space Field Activity. He is also co-chair of the Naval NRO Coordination Group. Captain Berner commanded Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 73 and previously served as an operations analyst and Undersea Warfare Branch Head within the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations’ Assessment Division.
