Institute Photos Contribute to Veterans Memorial
The city of Murrieta, California, unveiled the first phase of its Veterans Memorial in a ceremony attended by more than 800 in Murrieta Town Square Park on Memorial Day 2010. The memorial consists of a 25-foot-high black granite pentagonal obelisk bearing the medallions of the services and an etched flag, as well as a black granite World War II Veterans Memorial Wall. For the second phase of the memorial, the Naval Institute has provided photos that will be used in creating the Korean War Veterans Memorial Wall.
The Naval Institute maintains its enormous photo archive through photo sales and gift income. By contributing to the Institute, you allow us to support other worthy organizations that share the Institute's goals. Your donation counts!
