Wheels Up. A U.S. Marine with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force–Crisis Response–Africa on board a Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey on approach to the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) in the Mediterranean Sea during deck landing qualification. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis response and theater security operations in Africa and to promote regional stability through military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
