The MQ-8B Fire Scout unmanned aircraft system (UAS) has become a consistent part of naval operations and needs to be routinely integrated into high-end naval training. Regular integration into complex training environments will not only advertise the Fire Scout’s capabilities and relevancy, but also provide UAS operators opportunities to train with conventional manned aircraft. Without this integration, crews will be sent into contentious geographic areas unprepared for the sensitivities inherent in UAS operations.
