Naval Academy 19th Company
Sponsored Student Memberships: Pass It On!
One of the Naval Institute Foundation’s most popular initiatives pairs a donor with an NROTC unit or Naval Academy or Coast Guard Academy company. The donor’s tax-deductible contribution underwrites an individual membership (and, often, a subscription to Naval History magazine) for each midshipman or cadet.
This program is a win all around—but especially for the young men and women striving to establish themselves in their chosen profession.
Because the Naval Institute’s goal is to extend this leg up to all midshipmen and cadets while they are students, we continue to seek sponsors. An overview of the program is available at our website, https://www.usni.org/donate-student-memberships. If a unit you are interested in is already sponsored, current sponsors often are willing to share the opportunity at renewal time.
Among NROTC programs available for sponsorship:
• Embry-Riddle
• North Carolina State University
• Tulane
• UCLA
• University of Kansas
• University of Missouri
• University of North Carolina
• Virginia Tech
Naval Academy companies currently available for sponsorship: 3rd, 8th, 12th, 15th, 22nd, 25th, and 29th.

I’ve been subscribed to the USNI newsletter for two years but will now have the opportunity to read Proceedings, as well. We all appreciate this as midshipmen looking toward our careers!
