WEST 2017 was a success by every measure—including book sales. Over three days, 14 Naval Institute Press authors signed their books.
CNO Admiral John Richardson (left) stopped in and mixed it up with attendees and members of our staff. Naval Institute Chairman of the Board and author retired Admiral James Stavridis (lower left) signed copies of his new book in between stage appearances where he interviewed Admiral Michael S. Rogers, Commander, U.S. Cyber Command, and Director, National Security Agency, and facilitated a town hall with the three Sea Service Chiefs.
Attend Your Annual Meeting
We hope you will join us on Thursday, 11 May 2017, at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Washington, D.C., for the 144th Annual Meeting of the U.S. Naval Institute. The meeting will start at 1600 and include an update on the state of the Institute, announcement of the 2017 Board and Editorial Board election results, recognition of the 2016 Naval Institute Authors of the Year and General Prize Essay Contest winners, and remarks from a featured speaker. We have invited General Joseph Dunford, U.S. Marine Corps, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
