STAR IN THE SKY Spangler Arlington Brug starred in the 1943 production of Primary Flight Instruction: Stearman N2-S, Part 1 & 2 and no one noticed. Brug, at that time was better known to the world as Lieutenant Robert Taylor, U.S. Naval Reserve, and best recognized for his big-screen films including Stand By for Action (1942) and Bataan (1943). Taylor's World War II service included duty as a flight instructor and narrating the 1944 documentary The Fighting Lady in addition to directing 17 Navy training films.
