A Marine Corps FB-1 from Squadron VF-1M provides a resting spot for its pilot. The FBs were built between 1923 and 1929 and were the first successful Boeing-designed fighters. The FB-1 was a shore-based fighter, whereas its successors were equipped for carrier operations.
