The author of this novel is a West Point graduate who comes from a distinguished Army family. Although the setting is West Point, the novel could easily have been set in any of the other academies. It is extremely well written and, to put it mildly, is very absorbing. The book will be of great interest to any academy graduate or any professional military officer. The reader will not always like the book and may sometimes be revolted by it, but he or she will have to acknowledge that in today's world it is not as far-fetched as it at seems first.
