On September 14 Joshua Tallis will be speaking about his new book, The War for Muddy Waters: Pirates, Terrorists, Traffickers, and Maritime Insecurity at the Pan-European Conference on International Relations hosted by Sofia University, Bulgaria. Josh will be presenting as part of an academic panel on “Piracy, Maritime Terrorism, and Crime at Sea.” That same day, Josh will also be chairing a panel on “Regional and local maritime governance,” facilitating a conversation on maritime security issues with scholars from across the globe. This is a public event, but registration is required.
