Former Equipment Operator Chief (Seabee Combat Warfare) Peter L. Magoon, U.S. Navy, retired as a chief equipment operator after a 22-year career in the U.S. Navy Seabees. He now works for the Ventura County, California, Public Works Department as a maintenance supervisor and volunteers at the U.S. Navy Seabee Museum, for which he carves World War II Seabee unit wood plaques.
