Mr. Burton is the Bacevich Fellow at the Center for a New American Security, where he focuses on strategic planning in the Defense and State departments. He holds an M.A. in security studies from Georgetown University and a B.A. in political science from Stanford University. His writing has appeared in numerous scholarly policy journals.
