Building on our discussion about the Naval Institute’s electronic initiatives last month, I am pleased to introduce Sam LaGrone as our first online editor. As his title clearly implies, Sam will expand and refine a variety of the Institute’s online projects to make content more timely, relevant, and accessible. He will be supported by a network of contributors who will engage on topics and produce content on a more frequent basis than the current monthly rhythm of Proceedings allows. The discussion will be conducted and accessible from new sections on www.usni.org and in a new application for the iPad that we are currently developing.
