The Navy is suffering from leadership failures beginning from problems that begin at the heart of the development of future commissioned officers. This recent integrity scandal at the Naval Academy is an example of how much the values are lacking in our military. The Naval Academy is supposed to be teaching values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. It's not happening. How do I know this? An excerpt from the Navy's Core Values for Honor:
