I am concerned about the recent court-martial of Marine Major Clarke Paulus, an inspector-instructor (I&I) with the reserve 2d Battalion, 25th Marines (2/25). As the officer assigned to supervise 2/25's detention camp in Iraq, he was convicted of maltreatment and dereliction of duty in an incident involving the death of an Iraqi detainee.
