Over the past year, articles have been published, e-mails disseminated, speeches given, and discussions conducted on character development/leadership/ethics instruction at the U.S. Naval Academy. For better or worse, I have been associated with a portion of the ongoing debate. With that in mind, I thought it might be worthwhile to share the central thesis I have regarding our character development/leadership/ethics program.
