Dr. Milner is a professor of history at the University of New Brunswick, Canada, who has written extensively about World War II naval history. His books include Battle of the Atlantic (Stroud, Gloucestershire, U.K.: Tempus Publishing Limited, 2003), The U-boat Hunters, and North Atlantic Run (Toronto: University of Toronto Press, 1995 and 1985).
