Kirk Ross

Mr. Ross is a freelance writer living in Easton, Maryland. He based this story on interviews conducted while patrolling the same ground with members of 3d Platoon, Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Marines. In the past, he has filed reports from Iraq and Ukraine for Proceedings and is the author of The Sky Men: A Parachute Rifle Company's Story of the Battle of the Bulge and the Jump Across the Rhine (Schiffer, 2000).
