Dr. Barlow has been a historian with the Naval Historical Center's Contemporary History Branch since 1987. In addition to the award-winning history Revolt of the Admirals: The Fight for Naval Aviation, 1945-1950 (Washington, DC: Naval Historical Center, 1994), he has authored more than a dozen chapters in books dealing with World War II and the Cold War.
