Ms. Cleere is a Washington, D.C.-based science writer, currently with DHS S&T. She has written for Natural History Magazine, worked with the National Geographic Society and Atlantic Magazine, and is currently working on a rewrite of her book, The House on Observatory Hill (U.S. Government Printing Office, 1989).
